As a freshman, she set a Maryland record by clubbing 12 home runs, and as a sophomore she batted .556 with nine homers, 41 runs scored and a state-record 30 walks. The two-time Washington Post All-Met selection also went 12-3 with a 1.28 ERA in the circle.
