O’Donnell enjoyed one of the most dominant seasons in New Jersey history in 2008, pitching 177 innings and allowing just three earned runs (all in the same game) for an ERA of 0.10. Red Bank Catholic allowed just nine runs all season, and behind O’Donnell’s untouchable performance (345 strikeouts, 10 no-hitters), the Caseys won the Non-Public A state championship.
